The model is finished. Surprisingly the realistic shape of the roof was the most difficult part of the job. Only the fourth attempt was sucuccesful. Here are some pictures.

San (named after Sanok, the town in Poland where the bus factory was located) – It’s rather poorly designed bus from early 60ties. Although it was a bit obsolete on the other hand it was chip and that’s why very popular during next two decades. It had two main variants. To model the body I used the small pieces of 1mm plastic sheets […]

Zil-130 – Next model I always wanted to have in my range. As you can see I made several variants of this truck. Below you may find a short info about this truck. Zil-130 is a Soviet/Russian truck produced by ZIL in Moscow, Russia. It replaced the older ZIL-164, that only slightly differ from its predecessor ZIS-150, that in its turn was completely […]

A few months ago I bought a very nice set made by Woodland. This is the great product for the beginners. In a big box you may find all kind of tools and materials indispensable for making a couple of small dioramas. I wanted to try out the casting plaster and the casting roll wich I’ve never used before. I started to form […]

  • I always liked this truck, although it was extremely unreliable. In fact it was the very first Polish medium truck built after the war. I believe it’s design was a copy of the famous Italian FIAT 682 (maybe that’s why I love it), but the Polish engine and other parts were obsolete and poorly manufactured. I created three versions. The basic variant, Refrigerator […]

The final touches – I added some bushes (Woodland Coarse Turf) and trees. I placed also the bunch of cars (maybe a bit too many) and took couple of pictures. I hope you’ll like them.

I started with the curb stones. I made them from some thin slices of the polistyrene, and added the short sidewalks as well. Than I painted the base using Woodland and Faller’s paints. I like the Faller, because of it’s nice texture and deep matt finish. Next, I used Faller’s glue to fix the static grass by Polak. You must remember to mask […]

Buildings and other elements are done. On some of them I put my new decals using Mark Fit by Tamiya. Than I used matt varnish to cover the buildings and protect the paint and decals. Finally I used white paint to wash the walls a bit. Totem was made from an old guitar string. Than I put all my elements on the base […]

  • This is my brand new project – a gas station from 60-70ties. I wanted to have a structure as versatile as possible, so it could be placed on dioramas from various coutries. I have already printed two decal sets, for Polish CPN and German ARAL versions. This project depicts rather big station similar to those situated along the main roads across the Europe […]
