One of my favourite Polish pre war ships. Built in 1936, she entered the service the same year. Lost in tragic circumstances in Oksywie naval base during the first aerial attack on september the 1st. Direct hit of 250kg bomb near the funnel killed 16 men and sunk the ship instantly. The quarterdeck needs some work, but the basic framework is done. […]

One of my German friends asked me a couple weeks ago if I could scratchbuild for him two post war German trains. His order was quite difficult for me, because my knowledge about DB trains is unfortunately close to nothing. He sent me some drawings and that’s how these two beauties were born. Painting the thin stripes around the body was true pain […]

  • Over half a year I was absent on my blog and far away from 1:700 scale. Lots of coincidences forced me to focus on other matters, but finally im back for good. As a ‘starter’ i decided to make two small conversions of Jelcz/Skoda buses to Road Assistant Trucks. As a “organ donors” I used badly cast buses and trucks AA05 and TA02. […]

First of all I want to tell my skills are rather poor in that matter. As far as photo-etched parts are concerned Kasia […]

Today I have finised the longer and heavier variant of Saurer bus. It was used mainly for long distance trips or in bigger cities. The incoming set of Saurers will include both versions.

I’m finishing fourth North African set. Besides two houses with dome roofs, and the small market building the typical bakery is made. Few touch ups are to be done, but I believe the set will be finished very soon. I hope the wargamers addicted to Afrika Korps and IDF campagns will be satified 😉

To day I want to show you the Perch Rock Lighthouse I am modelling now. As you can imagine, it would be very diffcult to create such a shape without the milling machine. The model will be available soon.

San (named after Sanok, the town in Poland where the bus factory was located) – It’s rather poorly designed bus from early 60ties. Although it was a bit obsolete on the other hand it was chip and that’s why very popular during next two decades. It had two main variants. To model the body I used the small pieces of 1mm plastic sheets […]

  • Zil-130 – Next model I always wanted to have in my range. As you can see I made several variants of this truck. Below you may find a short info about this truck. Zil-130 is a Soviet/Russian truck produced by ZIL in Moscow, Russia. It replaced the older ZIL-164, that only slightly differ from its predecessor ZIS-150, that in its turn was completely […]
