Time is running out, thus today’s post will be really short. The ground is shaped and painted. I used Woodland acrylics. Some small parts are already placed.

New Year I started with small but a bit complicated project for one of my clients, who is crazy about Tolkien. Bilbo Baggin’s house is the main element of this small diorama. I made the fronts of Hobbit’s houses and cast them in resin so the doors may be optionaly opened. Those of you who would like to buy this set, please drop […]

Rafał Starowicz is one of the ablest micromodellers I’ve ever known. All comments are pointless. Just watch and enjoy…

Now it’s time for track ballast and static grass. The first one is fine sand, bought in aquaristic shop and glued to the base by thinned Scenic Glue from Woodland Scenics, finally painted by Revell enamels (No.83 and 84). As far as static grass is concerned I prefer Polák 1-2mm, because of it’s wide and very natural range of colours. I applied it […]

I love this product. At the end of the day I placed the buildings and the train for a while to feel the magic 😉 […]

At this stage, I glued the tracks, abutments of the bridge and the culver. Than, I covered the sharp egdes of the styofoam by the fine sand (circa 0.3mm) to make them look more natural. I use PVA glue, because of its flexibility.

Here is a small project of narrow-gauge line with the bridge somewhere in Poland in 60-70ties. A small farm near the level crossing is the central point. This set, and many others,  will be available this week.

I started another project. It is ispired by some photos of Polish, Eastern German and Soviet airbases.  This is general layout of the base. Beside the hangars I put control tower, and tower for AVIA-W radar. To open two hangars I had to cut the holes out. The fighters are Mig29s from Trumpeter.
