One of my German friends asked me a couple weeks ago if I could scratchbuild for him two post war German trains. His order was quite difficult for me, because my knowledge about DB trains is unfortunately close to nothing. He sent me some drawings and that’s how these two beauties were born. Painting the thin stripes around the body was true pain […]

Kriegslocomotives are done, so it’s time for their counterparts. Today I’ve finised self propelled passenger car which always reminds me the trips from my youth. I used primer from Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics. Narrow band was quite difficult to paint, but I think it looks acceptable. I used Humbrol’s Clearfix to create window panes. It’s easy to use and very efficient product. Happy New Year 🙂

  • This is my first serious attempt to built passenger cars, with simple interiors. I have chosen Polish and Hungarian types, firstly because I love them, secondly I have some of their blueprints. Seats are modelled very rough and the interior colours are a bit lighter than the real ones.

  • Next week I will update the site with at least ten new products. Amongst the others Goods Wagons of German types “Karlsruhe” and “Kassel” will be available. Their copies were very common across Europe, so these models are suitable for any kind of European diorama. You will be able to order a colorful decals set designed especially for them. “Wuppertal” type lidded wagon […]
