Quarry – part 1
A few months ago I bought a very nice set made by Woodland. This is the great product for the beginners. In a big box you may find all kind of tools and materials indispensable for making a couple of small dioramas. I wanted to try out the casting plaster and the casting roll wich I’ve never used before.
I started to form the base using the frames, method well known for all ship modellers. The spaces between these frames I filled out with the rolled paper and put the wet casting roll on them. After an hour I covered the hills with the casting plaster. Finally, after next 5 hours I sculpted quarry using some basic tools.
