Middle Ages in 1/700 scale
I was always fascinated by the cutlure, architecture and warfare of Middle Ages. About month ago I started to think about the versatile model system that could allow me to build various castles and city walls. This is my first attempt, based mainly on gothic structures from the State of the Teutonic Order and Poland, but I am interested also in Wester Europe castles and towns, like Carcassonne or fortified ports like La Rochelle.
I am using 3d program to create the general layout and proportions of the buildings. Next step will be the CNC milling and finally adding some human touch.
So far the Gate Tower is designed (based on Liw castle), the wall sections, and some other elements.
