“Boxer Leopold”
Today I want to present the ship I am modelling. A deap Sea Tug built in La Rochelle as “Le Boxeur”, than sold to Antwerp harbour and renamed “Leopold”, finally bought by Polish Navy in early 30ties. She was armed with two machine guns and served as auxillary vessel untill the end of Polish Campaign. Sunk by the crew in Hel to block the entrance to the port. Soon after repared and enlisted to Kriegsmarinea as „Rixhöft”. Lost in 1945 near Rostock.
