German locomotive type 52 was built in hudge numbers during the Second World War. It was less complicated than pre war constructions and built using less expensive materials. In the post-war years the 52s were used by many European countries. Some of them left the Germans, but many others were built in considerable numbers thanks to modified plans.

The sets included two resin  locomotives with photo etched parts and requires considerable assembly skills.
