Bowmore is a small town on Islay in Scotland, famous for it’s destillery. Many visitors don’t realize that in II WW in this small port Coastal Command had it’s base with famous Sunderland planes. Visiting Bowmore this year, I found an information about the hudge storm, which stroke this place in march 1943. My last picture was taken from the small wooden cottage seen in googlmaps.
